As a certified sexologist I have found that creating a space to learn and talk about sex without shame can be incredibly therapeutic, as it is a space that can heal and better our mental and physical state. This differs to therapy, which is a systematic approach with a licensed clinician to address and resolve mental health concerns.

In order to receive AASECT CEs we will need your full name and your license number, along with the workshop that you will be attending. We will confirm that you were present at the workshop for the required amount of time and will receive the CE certificate after the event.

Sex can be a difficult topic to talk about, particularly as many of us have been brought up in anhedonic purity culture. And while safe spaces allow for participants to feel comfortable, brave spaces are often important to cultivate in sex education environments as they are the spaces that allow us to unlearn narratives we were taught, and often inspire growth, curiosity, and agency.
